About the event
Durham Girls on the Run to Careers in Health and Medicine is a week long DAY camp to give girls real life exposure to health related careers.Â
There are two tracks: 9-11 year olds and 12 - 14 year olds
There will be some combined sessions and similar topics including but not limited to interviews and presentations from female health care professions, CPR and first Aid training, activities, hands on vital signs demo, group activities, and more.
Snack and lunch will be served daily.Â
Camp facilitators will be trained health care professionals.
**Note this is NOT an overnight camp**
