About the event
The 2023 Choose YOU! Walk for Life is an annual event where funds are raised to benefit bringing care to the community. Proceeds will help bring community awareness to CPR and prevention of chronic issues like hypertension and diabetes.
While we challenge you to run/walk a distance of 5K, this event has something for runners, walkers, individuals, families and teams. You can and are encouraged to create your own goal.
Schedule of Events:
7:00am - Registration
7:40am - Welcome, Group Warm-Up, Starting Prayer, Choose YOU! Pledge
8:00am - Walk/Run Start
9:30am - "Field Day" activities
11:00am - End of event
Along with our 5K Walk and Run, we will host educational vendors and a "local" Marketplace featuring locally owned busineses, organizations and community non-profits. There will also be an opportunity to get FREE health screenings from ECU health.
Adult Registration
Early Registration: $30
August 1: $35
October 1: $40
**Registration includes a race t-shirt for those registered by August 1st (or until each size is sold out), lap necklaces, participation medals (for those finishing the 5K), Zing provided food and drink tickets.
Kids Dash (12 and under)
Registration Fee: $10

Sponsorships help support the mission of Zing Life Services and bring care to the community of those who need it most. Levels will get various degrees of recognition before, during and/or after the event. Bronze - Official Walk program recognition, 1 comp ticket Silver - all of the above & Motivation Walk sign with logo, 2 comp tickets Gold - all the above & Website, social media recognition, stage recognition at event, 4 comp tickets
